In July, the production was mostly affected by the the lower average wind speed and the planned maintenance.
July has been a maintenance intensive month, as the wind speed gets lower, and production losses minimized. The current activities are for example:
- Blade repairs
- Wind turbines inspections
Some roads are also receiving care to ensure proper condition prior next winter season. This is done throughout the months of June, July and August.
In 2023, to date, the remaining activities are:
- Completion of blade repairs started in 2022 as well as the one scheduled and started in 2023
- Continuing the planned annual maintenance as per the maintenance manual
- Site inspections
- Repairs at site building
- HSE audit
The high precipitation in July (red notice warning in some areas in Sweden) led to some waiting days, and a delay in the progress of the maintenance. It is expected to regain a more sustained rhythm as the days are getting drier in August. Summer are busy working months at the wind farm.
