Wellcome Vindr

Determined to start a new growth phase, Vindr welcomes InfraVia, via its Swedish entity Treblade, as its new shareholder in order to boost its development efforts

The new partners will combine Vindr’s portfolio of projects and development skills, Treblade experience in building and operating onshore wind projects and InfraVia’s financing capabilities in order to create a leading independent wind power producer in the Nordics and Baltics.

In line with the European and National focus in reducing CO2 emissions and bringing competitive clean energy sources to communities, industrials and municipalities, InfraVia will support the growth of Vindr in these regions, the development of local expertise and competencies, and finally play a critical role in contributing to the targets set in the Paris Agreement.

Vindr invests in community-focused wind projects across Nordics and Baltics. The company has a pipeline of 3GW+ of onshore wind projects close to consumption in areas with capacity constraints.

We are excited to continue our journey with a strong partner backing our ambitious development plan, and look forward to the synergies and experienced infrastructure investor brings“, says Camilla Andersson, co-founder at Vindr.

In InfraVia we found a partner who not only shares our vision of wind project development, but also can elevate our strategy by adding stability and experience that will bring much needed green energy to the market faster”,  says Jan-Olav Oderud, co-founder at Vindr.

Through our partnership with InfraVia we have now a stable and long-term deal in place to deliver on our commitments to society and industry in the Baltics as we continue the journey towards net-zero and domestic security of supply in an era of global political turmoil”, says Marko Viiding, member of management
board of Vindr Baltic OÜ.

We are extremely happy to have joined forces with Vindr and to support them in the next development phase. With this investment we comfort our commitment to the Nordic area and the energy transition. We share Vindr’s vision of how to bring new carbon free energy to a capacity constraint market. Together we aim to become a leading Nordic and Baltic independent wind power producer.” says InfraVia Capital Partner’s CEO Vincent Levita .
